Refund Policy

At Skärgåds Savor Coffee, customer satisfaction is important to us. This Refund & Returns Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, returns, or replacements may be granted, in accordance with Finnish and EU consumer protection laws.

Right of Withdrawal (Online & Distance Sales)

If you purchase our products online or via distance selling, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, as provided by the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (Kuluttajansuojalaki).

However, this right does not apply to:

  • Food and beverages (including coffee) once the package has been opened

  • Products that are sealed for health or hygiene reasons and unsealed after delivery

Eligible Returns

You may be eligible for a return or refund if:

  • The product is defective

  • The product was damaged during delivery

  • The wrong product was delivered

  • The product is unopened, unused, and in its original packaging

Proof of purchase is required in all cases.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Opened coffee bags or beverages

  • Perishable food items

  • Gift cards or promotional items

  • Products damaged due to improper storage after delivery

Damaged or Defective Products

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • A clear photo of the product and packaging

  • A brief description of the issue

We will offer a replacement, refund, or store credit, depending on the situation.

Refund Process

Once your return or claim is approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • Processing time is typically 5–10 business days

  • Shipping costs are refundable only if the return is due to our error

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or incorrect

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service

In-Store Purchases

Refunds for in-store purchases are offered only for:

  • Defective products

  • Products returned unopened within [X] days, at our discretion

Receipts are required.
